ffb is terrible after 15th March update

Sounds like a step in the right direction.
Another thing, what anti virus or other security software do you guys have running on your PCs? I'm wondering if there might be some av that prevents the game from making certain changes (writing to or clearing files) maybe, seeing how all those av progs seem to monitor all your internet traffic these days...

 

I'm not running any 3rd party AV at the moment.

 

I forced the update in Steam by removing my whole game data folder and got the big download.
It works perfectly now and I've set my FFB back to my personal settings and It's great again.

 

Today I suddenly got the same problem.Large deadzone and a strange rattling I never experienced before. The M235i feels totally different too. Much like FWD car. I guess that is more a result of the FFB though. I deleted my game data folder and I am reloading shortly.

 

just to report that ffb seems to be working fine again.

 

Can you explain how you solved it?

 

Steam updated (30megabytes or so) then I deleted simbin folder (I had previously done this without luck).
