Flags

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to RaceRoom (formerly rFactor, GSCE & AMS1) so this may seem a dumb question, I don't see any flags, are they meant to be track side or only virtual, how do you enable them?
Also when a race finishes there is nothing to tell you that its over, it did come to a finish screen however I ended up doing 11 laps in a 10 lap race, also the AI cars all pitted on previous lap?
I'm also using Crew Chief but when I crossed the line on what I thought was the last lap...nothing from him either?

Settings > HUD > In-game overlays. Put to "Essential only" or "All".

 

Ok...I've got flags in the HUD overlay working but where do you set the flag rules, I can't find it anywhere?

 

When you create a race or a championship.
