Well... a day or two later and I have found 1.2 seconds around the track... woo hoo... still 0.8 off the pace but improving. Turns out that for me Stowe was where I wasn't getting the most out of the car - reckon I picked up more than half that gain on just one corner. Trust the [down] force Luke..
It's not yet the fastest lap I'm targeting but it's getting good IMO and I couldn't resist to share it. Wow this car/track combo is so intense! TC is on 75%, I'll post setup later, before I'd like to improve by 1 or maybe 2 seconds.
Thanks but seeing the time made by Vincent Jarschel I suppose it's possible to do under 4'50. About this bug, it's 100% reproducible but in fact it happens progressively. 1) Start a leaderboard session with FR X-17 on Nordschleife, bind a key to restart the session. 2) Restart the session several times. 3) Progressively the AI line will deviate to the right, until it throws you directly off-track. ^^
Just bought this car today and took it right out on nordschleif. OMG this beast is fucking NUTS thank you thank you THANK YOU S3 I am officially addicted to open wheels.
Thanks. With a bit more speed in some turns, and with setup. Since this video I changed wings setup, +1 on front and -2 on rear and improved by 1 second. Wings was already lowered, I'm not sure about the good setup but am sure I'm always doing driving mistakes, even if the run in this video is rather clean. ^^ On my last tries I was constantly failing the carousel. Still have to improve by 1.705 to take the lead back, at least for a few hours or days.
Yes, I know the feeling. Such a long track and there is always a corner where you make a tiny mistake on a really fast lap :/
If you have mechanical damage on, one of the possibilities could be that the engine dies because of too long running in too high revs (though I'm not sure if overheating is a possible mechanical failure in RaceRoom) or when it hits too often the rev limiter.
Today we start. Come on and join us. I say something for this mode. Mechanic damage is too bad any solution for this ?
Just did a race at Spa and when watching the replay I noticed my user car (FRX-17) was the only one showing DRS animation on rear wing. It was lap two with the cars still very close together so I would have expected DRS activation from half the field. Does that mean AI doesn't use DRS or does it just not show up on replays?
