Hello all. If there is a great thread already I am sorry. I searched but did not find anything. I'm trying to figure out how to calculate FOV properly. I run triple 27 inch monitors at about 60 degrees. I have been running at 0.7 but just found a calculator that told me I should be at 50 degrees and a FOV of 151. How does the math work for this? It's a multiplier of some sorts but no clue how it works. Any help appreciated.

How does this work in R3E?

Does 0.7 mean 70° FOV etc?

I f you want to set the excat FoV that you want to use then download the Find and Replay tool and you can set it easy for all cars with a couple clicks.

So the numbers in the game are multipliers of 58? As in if I set the FOV in game to say 0.6, then my FOV will be 34.8 degrees? And it's vFOV, I presume, right?

I had been editing the camera files to my preferred motion settings but I didn't realise you could set individual FOVs. Thanks! (Wish this stuff was easier to access, though)

Thanks so much. Not even looking at this now though as I just got a V2.5 and am having issues getting everything set up.

@Andy Kettler Thanks for the FOV help. Huge!!! Is there a way to change the camera tilt? I have to "sit" too low to get all the dash info I want. I want to move the camera up a few clicks but tilt it down a bit.
