    Hey all.

recently I finally had an opportunity to upgrade my graphics card to a MSI GTX1080 gaming X. The card that preceded that was a Evga GTX 660.
    The hardware im running is
CPU- Ryzen 3 1200 (base clock is 3.1ghz and is overclocked to 3.6 with 1.35v
    Ram - 16gb Corsair @3200mhz DDR4
    Mono- Msi B450m Gaming plus.

I run in triple screens, 2 of the monitors are 1600x900 and my center is 1650X1050. With the 660 I was able to reach frame rates Of 40-45 sometimes 50 with about 25 cars on track. Graphics set to medium with some set to low. On the 1080 and all set to high I can reach not much higher that what I was able to get with the 660. I was expecting to see a much higher frame rate.

Now with project cars 2 I had to run everything on low to reach 50-60 with the 660 card. On the 1080 I can run everything on ultra and reach near 100 frames and that’s a much more demanding game in graphics.

nothing in the background is running to slow anything down. Cpu usage is 75-80% and gpu is around the same. New drivers were just installed as well. Anyone else that runs triples have a similar experience ?

    I don’t think I’m bottlenecked that much. It’s not constantly on 100%.

You're running a lot higher graphics settings than you were on the old card though, if it was like for like the fps increase would be more obvious. Knock shadows and reflections back to medium, those are the two big fps killers and you wont notice it too much.

I’ve been playing around with different settings. The first Ryzen 3 single core is ok and with R3E only using less cores doesn’t help . Just makes me laugh that I can run PC2 on ultra but need lower settings for an older game. Dang DX9 lol
