Hi, I noticed there's no fuel settings in car setup in R3E. There's no fuel added during pit stop and my dashboard always shows 50l of fuel. Did I miss some setting or fuel amount is not part of the game? I so far tried single races only with free and ADAC 2013 content. I am new to R3E and I am experiencing gearbox failures (manual shifting, no auto clutch). I usually use clutch when H-shifting older cars, but I thought cars with sequential gearbox do not need clutch. What causes failures, only downshifting without clutch (RPM mismatch) or upshifting also needs clutch? Thanks!
Fuel is not for us to fiddle with atm but will be at a later stage. Clutch is kind of WIP at the moment cause it improved from last build but it's still too sensitive in some situation... Or maybe it's just me. "6th to 2nd in one shot? Sure, this car can handle that!!"
Yeah, quite possible it's too sensitive, my brother calls me "Mr. Careful", so I don't push cars too hard, even virtual ones Does anyone know R3E gearbox damage model? How it works approximately? Is clutch needed on upshifting? Actually, I began to wonder: is manual clutch even used in ADAC GT Masters and modern DTM series? I enjoy realistic simulation, but if real series don't use manual clutch, doing it manually in game is a step away from my goal.
