If you use the GHUB, can you go back to the old software? there is some indications that it could be the GHUB software.
Hmm interesting, my old G27 died and I switched to the G29. I was using the leftwingman software but I had problems with button recognition in some other racing games so I switched to GHub. I still have the download, maybe I'll try and reinstall it and see if that helps. Thanks Paul.
I could not get the FFB on my G29 to work on Win10 with LGS, worked ok on Win7, so have to use GHub. The crash is not really a problem for me as the game works fine, just annoying it crashes on exit.
Im also on a g29 using ghub and had no problems so far but today ghub automatically updated (to version 2020.6.58918) and now my game crashes when closing it as well. That doesnt really bother me but now the game also no longer overwrites the degrees of rotation value that is set in ghub so now i have to load a session with the car i want, check its degree value, exit the game, enter that value in ghub and then start the game and load a session every time (not quite as a good number of cars have the same values but still) i switch cars. That is something that does bother me quite a bit. Read in another thread that simply closing ghub could potentially do the trick already so ill do that next time im playing and report back if it works for me
Just did a quick test and closing ghub did indeed solve both the game crashing on exit and the degree of rotation issue and i didnt notice any problems that might arise by running without ghub so for a quick workaround this might be the way to go Edit: well today the degrees of rotation dont work by closing ghub, keeping the game from crashing still does tho
It auto-installed on my PC, would not let me connect my G29 until it had done so. I guess that you could do it manually if it does not.
