Starting from this year, all official RaceRoom Competitions will share the same base rules. This way, we hope to reach a more equal standard in all series and events, and also to discourage drivers from driving unfair, since penalties, strikes and absences will now have an effect for all leagues, and not just for one. Due to Account Sharing in leaderboard qualifiers, Bence Bánki and Krisztián Juhász are disqualified from the CUPRA SimRacing Series 2021, and Nikodem Wisniewski and Jakub Brzezinski are retroactively disqualified from the ADAC GT Masters Esports Championship 2019 and Esports WTCR 2019. They are all placed on their final warning, for account related offenses. The next offense will result in a permanent ban. Due to the disqualification of Wisniewski and Brzezinski, David Nagy therefore is the Esports WTCR champion 2019. We will run further checks, also on past competitions, in the upcoming time. It is one of the essential things, that you drive yourself in these competitions. No matter if you think, that the time attacks may be annoying or time consuming. This is one of the core principles of competition. You drive your own times. Also, the truth always comes out, even if it takes some time. It’s not worth it to cheat in the long run. Apologies that it took so long to figure that out. It’s not easy to check. But we can check it, and we will check it.
Nico Nünninghoff got caught cheating in RaceRoom Racing Experience. His account is suspended for the next 10 years. Nünninghoff also is excluded from all competitions. His scores in the competitions are deleted.
