Not sure I could list my top 5 metal bands. Too many to rank Here's one though (even if they only made two albums) And something from the more obscure end of the spectrum..... Norwegian prog-metal.....Who knew?
It's the goggles, right? But if I absolutely had to rank my metal bands, these guys would definitely be somewhere in my top three. They have some absolutely monstrous riffs. (Pretty fun video as well)

One of my all-time favorite bands, Wintersun have started a crowdfunding campaign, you can basically preorder their new album's digital version, plus remastered versions of their previous work and a new live album. If you like what you hear and want to help four slightly awkward Finnish dudes to achieve their life goals, then please consider buying the album directly from the band instead of the traditional physical copy, they wish to build their own studio from the money raised, to produce their future albums much faster.
