To clarify: J-F was mixing things up when he said that, the update will be around 3 GB, not 20.

It was late, and you're not getting younger, so we forgive you. ;)

After watching the Racedepartment stream I was disapointed that we're still not getting flatspots and tire pressures (my fault for hyping myself too much about this patch)... on the other hand Alex is revamping the tire model and that gives me some hope that I might still see those features coming to Raceroom during my lifetime.

And once/if that happens I'll probably complain about the lack of dynamic track and proper damage model, unless I'm too old and senile to be able to use the internet by then :D

The GT4 cars do look very cool tough and from the video it seems like they have a much more natural behaviour compared to other cars in the game. I kinda made a deal with myself that I wouldn't spend any more money on Raceroom until I start to see some decent progress being made in the previously mentioned features, but these cars are tempting me...

@David Peres do not despair. Just before starting to rush for end of the year patches, we were playing around with some flatspot prototype in code. I had to stop testing that though as we had to focus on other things.

And regarding tyre pressure we may be able to play with that in development builds and ensure everything works before introducing this into RaceRoom in new cars for example, then slowly bringing it to the rest. So both topics will get looked into more thoroughly after the current storms have passed. Hopefully we'll know if we want to proceed with these two topics during the first half of 2019.

Is he really saying, the problem ist still the lack of a GUI implementation???
I mean... it's been like this for years now!
I would rather lie than give this embarrassing answer o_O

Bottom line: I really can't get over it :(

I must admit that I didn't phrase the question very well.
We used to be able to run things like GR5 vs GTO or an IMSA grid, but the changes in the flag system and the position bar only showing your own class stopped that.
So I had hoped for either a toggle to switch it on or off or some other fix.
Besides which it was way past my bedtime.

Hope this can be managed very soon. Nordschleife without Multiclass-Option is like Currywurst ohne Soße :D

    Is this a real livery?
    Is this just fantasy?

I would assume most of the drivers are not real.

Absolutely need to see the newer and smaller Camaro GT4-R in the game instead of that big boat of a 2010.

Totally off topic, but I have to share this: I read your comment on the tune of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody :fearscream:. Once it’s in your head... :tonguewink:

unfortunately the Camaro will get a (ugly) facelift in 2019 … so if Sector 3 is interested in a new Camaro model for R3E, then I hope they choose the "old" one (2016 - 2018) like you can see in the video "The Porsche Hunter" above

I actually like the front of the 2019. Except the only real wrong - and than I mean really really very wrong - thing about it is the dreadful duotone frontpiece with the logo. It makes it look cheap and ugly. While - when it would be just the color of the rest of the bodywork - the 2019 just looks more aggressive. But when we come to the back... Oh boy. Where the front works, the back is just flat-out butt-ugly.

Maybe time for a "fantasy" GT4 RaceRoom USA MuscleCar with the good things of the 2019 model on the 2018 model ;).

But when it comes to a licensed Camaro… I'm totally with you. Just in general the 2018 looks just as it should be. And the 2019 not.

Great stream yesterday with all the popular yt-Sim racers. They had no chance to match up the speed of Georg, jardier...:D but as we all know these guys are not the slowest. And honzik: "Let's drive another round on the NOS...and one more...only one" :D.
