Seems that #44 was a 200 Trans-am, not the 90 GTO http://www.diecastxchange.com/forum...-118-collection-1605-f1-lotuses/#entry2519186
Good Grief ... that appears so petty, why on earth would they even worry about a livery in a racing game !
Yes the mighty DOLL - Ahhhh ...but then I just did a race and see the AI are still racing around in that lovely Yellow livery ! So what is the difference if an AI or a human (well ok semi human) uses an unsanctioned livery ?... incredible !
This is a bit hearsay, but I believe it's partly related to people taking liberties with custom paints in the past and abusing them with historically offensive iconography, or some such, although Audi's seems to be partially brand based too. There are a few companies that have this stipulation unfortunately, McLaren is another "real liveries only" one, which is why McLaren is no longer used in my PCARS install.....
Oh I see what you did there ! ... I should clarify, when I said I was semi-human, I really meant barely human ... So can I drive that car too ?
Only after giving up your barely human shell (your words ) and getting your personality integrated in the Raceroom universe.
Will this be applyed to the AI's as well? At least for me it's not that important what livery my car has, I never se my own car more than in replays anyways. But if they could stay as AI's would be nice for variety.
I did a more severe test drive with the Nissan Silvia S12 car today and it is just awesome I love it and yes there is a BUT... ha ha... Can you please address the rpm limiter you are cutting the engine just when it get its top performance peak that is just not right I can understand you want to put a limiter on it thogh it didn't actually have one. But you need to move up the rev limit to at least 9200-9500 rpm in that case... According to Tomei who was responsible for the engine on the silvia and the version you have in the game that is the later version and its top torque (Nm) start at 6400rpm and top HP peak at 7600rpm and the earlier version top was just past 8000rpm so the engine might have to actualy rev past that to get to its top performance and since it is a turbo charge engine that is kind of vital for it don't you think... As I said I do understand the revlimiter I can go for that no problem and think you are right to put one in but it just need to be higher to be fair to the car performance, it really cuts out the engine way to early. And once again thank you for all the good work the team are doing on R3E
I realized recently, that GTO Mustang drives a bit like i would expect from V8 Supercar Sure, it's around 300kg lighter, but overall car balance and power seems to match pretty well. Shame there are not many tracks, where i could race them properly (neitherr from V8SC calendar and IMSA calendar )
I just noticed that the name of the "GTO Classics" car pack was renamed to "[Old] GTO Classics". Are there any news which you like to tell us RaceRoom??? ... ...
Don't see this change, but maybe this has something to do with removal of couple of Audi liveries? BTW This probably should be fixed:
