i had just come back to the GTR2 RUF after a long spell and the road noise ( vibration, wheel racket) seems more pronounced than with , say ADAC 2014 or GT3 withe the same FFB settings.
Anyone else notice that? I have no other GTR2 cars to compare...might try Road test....

You can turn down the suspension sound.

Weird, the suspension volume should be similar for all the cars, but I'll have a look at it.

Not to hyjack this thread too much, does anyone know which sound category in the mixer is associated with a sound rather like luggage banging around in the car? I'd really like to make that subliminal if I could.

Sounds like you mean the suspension.

Actually, I worded this incorrectly...the sound is fine, sorry to get you off on the wrong track.......its vibration and wheel rattling that is higher in this car that in others....I was referring "noise" to unwanted or extra vibrations from normal...as if the road is much rougher than usual.

I don't think he worked anything out yet, it's just that everyone interpreted his problem wrongly. He was never talking about sound, he was talking about the road noise (not sound, but small details in the physical track mesh) you feel trough the FFB.
