I guess it might a good idea for me to post my problems with GTR2 here and seek help.

I've been running GTR2 mainly for its driving school, and I somehow have stood the trouble of incorrect wheel rotation settings. But now when I get into the track coach stages in the driving school, the wrong rotation angle really starts to make driving hard.

This is how I set up my G27 profiler for GTR2:

    GTR2 Properites.png

And this is my global settings:
    Global.png

Now when I get into GTR2, the wheel rotation is 900 degrees instead of 270. For some reason it seems that GTR2 is the only game giving me this problem. I'm wondering if any of you have any tips for this?

Does this part of my G27 settings look right? Should I use settings other than "Apply profiler to games automatically"?

    Thanks in advance.

Why would you want 270? Normally we use 540 in GTR2/Race07 and then I adjust the wheel lock in the car setup

540 doesn't work as well. 270 is just an example. If I set 540 in my GTR2 profile, it gives me 900 in GTR2; If I set 540 in my Race07 profile, it gives me 540 in Race07 correctly.

PIC 1. Put some FFB on spring, damper and the centering spring strength. Remove the use special game settings and the allow game to adjust......
PIC3. Do the same thing. And set wheel rotation to 270 degrees.
PIC4. Do - Apply Persistent profile, choose R3E game instead, and then apply profiles to games automatically.

    Maby this can help...

I´ll write a post in few - u might have to make some changes in the wheel setup file - still got it all from back then :)
BTW - I have always been driving with 270 degrees, GTR2, GTL, RACE07 ect.

Sure it always happens, I can´t find my note-book ATM. Just moved to a new appartment - but I´ll find it :) You go to GTR2/Gamedata/userprofiles/*Name*
Open the *Name*.PLR file - Find the section that contains:

Find your axis for Speeder, Brake, and Wheel rotations - increase them to 1.00000 - Save changes! And you should be good to go....

Well thanks for all your help but now the game chooses to just give up recognizing my throttle axis... things are getting worse...

Never ever use Logitech Profiler it's useless.. only use global setup and let game be able to do changes the response in the wheel is much better and accurate... Global seting is to 900% FFB to your liking and click let game change seting... then in game setup after your liking and it should be ok... But I say as someone already did I use 540% and use steering lock to ajust how fast the wheel turn. and that work perfect with my G27 in all sims.. ;)

Edit: I do have the Logitech profiler instaled but never touched it only setup wheel in windows controler setup..
