We are a well established UK based simracing league with clean and respectful drivers who have recently been running test races with RaceRoom Racing Experience. We are now happy to announce a series of championship races over the coming weeks on Thursday evenings featuring historic content and we would love to see some new faces lining up with us on the grid. The first race is on Thursday 6th August so pop along to our site and get yourselves registered (you'll need to for the event password) and get practising http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13215#event4622 You can find further details of events here as we post them up (just click on the little flags). http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=501&theme=4 Happy racing
You're welcome Numbers have been low in our test races mainly because it's a new sim for us and we haven't promoted it anywhere until now. We expect interest to grow over the coming weeks now that we have a proper series underway.
Fair enough, that's sounds understandable. What's the saying... you only need two to make a race? Have you thought about posting it on reddit's r/simracing subreddit?
I don't know the reddit site but if it will attract good racers I'm all for it. We usually see a drop off in attendances over all our sims over the summer months but things usually pick up again come the autumn. Hope to see you on track with us
I'm a bit confused. The simracing forum appears to be down but I'm sure someone on there said there was no password, just join. But the server's there an it's passworded
Ahhh.... I see, the password's at the top of the info post with the race details on the simracinguk.org forum
Thanks for the great racing mr_belowski Our league is a bit split between sims at the moment but I'm sure it will pick up. Next week it's Round 2 with the Gr5 cars at Mid Ohio http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13216#event4623
Hi Ant, yes of course you're welcome to join us. You'll need to register with us for the password and it might be worth checking your connection on our practise server...........SA is a looooong way Hope to see you next week.
I did register Goldtop. But they say I am a spammer using my gmail account. I will wait for the reply via email. Thank you
Glad you made it Ant and hope to see you on track Round 3 of this series is on Thursday and features the Touring Classics at Laguna Seca: http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13217.0
We're racing DTM 92s at Zolder tonight, if anyone fancies it http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13234.0
Round 7 of this series is this Thursday and features the Touring Classics at Sonoma Long. This has been a great series so far with some fantastic racing which has been both clean and competitive throughout. This is the penultimate round of this particular championship but new drivers are welcome to come and join us as we will be continuing these races for the foreseeable future. http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13235#event4647
