Sometimes it can be easier to move the monitors into the right position instead of fiddling with settings
Monitors are in the right position, but i had to put bezel at zero since its bezel corrected in nvidia surround settings. I have tested several other cars without the seat ears visible. But i think that Sector3 is aware of this thing and will fix this in a future update. This is after all a very early attempt to get triple setup working, which in my opinion they have nailed except for this issue.
My head is touching the roof and I feel like I am looking down but the display is perfect to my wheel. Do I have the drivers eye offset messed up?
When using these settings, -triScr 97 -20 52 32.5 0 51.5 32.5 0 5 51.5 32.5 0 5, I get two problems: Missing sky textures in the mirror for the Corvette C7 at Nurburgring GP at Noon I can't use any of the other camera views to admire the car When adding the "1" at the end, -triScr 97 -20 52 32.5 0 51.5 32.5 0 5 51.5 32.5 0 5 1, strange stuff happens to the side monitors. My monitors are basically flat (5 degree kind of angle)
With such flat angles, why are you using the special tripple mode at all? The feature was designed for angled monitors so the engine renders them individually. With flat angles you are better off with single render.
hello, the triple screen adjustment system works for me but I do not know which digit to use in the video options: field of vision 0.5x to 1.3x The new triple screen system is it independent regardless of the value I use ??? before i used 0.8x
Found this (from M D Gourley) on RD: Going to play a bit with the numbers too because those floating front parts of the chair ears are driving me nuts... Though the difference between the measured distance/angles and the entered values is huge...
Hello, is there a option to tilt the cockpit view down or up. when adjusting the fov on triple screen in game with thanks Rupe.
Check this topic https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/steering-wheel-position-modders-take-note.5071/
@Rupe Wilson use these to adjust the cockpit view in triple screen mode, as described in the first post. What you want is to shift display up/down.
Maybe a bit off topic (but before the triple support I never had it iirc): I just bought the Audi R8 LMS and the steering wheel (at least the base since I have the wheel disabled) is a bit off center, i.e. about 4 cm to the left. I guess I can change it in the camera files but I'm not sure which line ? In the cockpit driver view triple (see below), or another camera ? Someone ? -<tools__PivotCameraDescriptor ID="cameras/cockpit_driver_view"> <latestVersion type="size_t">0</latestVersion> <near type="float32">0.10000000</near> <fov type="float32">40.00000000</fov> <focalDistance type="float32">0.01000000</focalDistance> <aperture type="float32">9999.00000000</aperture> <relativeTransform type="Matrix">{ 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 -0.295 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.851 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 -0.1 0.00000000 0.00000000 0.00000000 1.00000000 }</relativeTransform> <rightYawLimit type="float32">55.00000000</rightYawLimit> <leftYawLimit type="float32">55.00000000</leftYawLimit> <downPitchLimit type="float32">20.00000000</downPitchLimit> <upPitchLimit type="float32">20.00000000</upPitchLimit> <rightRollLimit type="float32">0.00000000</rightRollLimit> <leftRollLimit type="float32">0.00000000</leftRollLimit> <orientationSpeed type="Vector">{10.00000000 50.00000000 2.00000000}</orientationSpeed> I could experiment, but I already lost lots of time trying to get the triple settings correctly... ------------------------------ The values I use now are fairly different from the ones I first (corectly) measured: I started with: triScr 61 0 60 33.5 2 60 33.5 2 45 60 33.5 2 45 1 now I have: triScr 51 0 60 33.5 0 60 33.5 4 40 60 33.5 4 40 1 May still be WIP, but for now it seems to be OK in the cars I tested (no floating seat ears). However, while trying, I got this a few times. It went from 'normal' to 'weird' and back a few times, each time within a few seconds and it was only on the right side:
I think he (and others) would like to have the possibility to change seat pitch. So not only up/down, fore/aft, but also the seat inclination.
sounds cool... is it only working in VR or in Single-Screen as well? Would try it my self but have no PC available the next days ^^
@m.bohlken its a triple screen only setting. But i agree, an option to tilt the view would also be nice for single monitors.
