I have myself a fairly strange issue with setting up my triples. I do the following: 1. Create the argument -triScr 90 5 53 30 1 53 30 1 45 53 30 1 45 (those values are in cm for my identical 24" monitors) (RR1.PNG in attachments) 2. I enable Nvidia Surround (RR2.PNG in attachments) 3. I launch the game Here's what happens: the game launches only on the center screen, turns off the two side monitors and launches, with triples effect but only on 1 screen. (RR3.PNG in attachments) The funny thing is, this worked a week ago, before I rebuilt my PC. Now, for some reason, it's being weird. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Deon
Did you check the (combined) resolution ? Also strange that in the nVidia panel your screen is marked as 4. Mine says 1...
I have checked the resolution. And strangely, it says 1080... And that's as high as it'll go though for some reason. Like I mentioned before, when the sim launches, it completely disables the two side monitors... I'm yet to try it on Windowed modes though...
Yup, that's what I though. They only available options I have in there is for 1920x1080, like mentioned earlier... I don't have the option for 5760x1080 like I have in all three of my other sims...
You may have to check all video settings. I have 5760 X 1080 supported (3 x 27" 144Hz monitors). I'm far from an expert, but I still don't get why your Nvidia config screen shows your monitors as #4. Afaik it should say 1, at least it does on my side. Have you set the resolution in the Nvidia panel right ?
I'm not quite comfortable that launch options automatically "detect" the measurement units. I used cm, but when I tried to play DTM my FOV still looks far, compared to Rfactor and Assetto Corsa. The numbers i've input in the launch options were from my RFactor triple screen settings.Dunno if DTM cars are really big though. Adjusting FOV in-game doesn't help as well (and i think this is true for all other sims, the FOV being overriden since you're already on triples). I haven't tested any other cars yet. Has anyone experienced tweaking a bit more in the settings? What do you use as unit of measurement in the launch options? -triScr 68 0 47.6 26.9 2.4 476 26.9 2.4 43 47.6 26.9 2.4 43
Launch option settings = -triScr 70 0 53.5 30 0.5 53.5 30 0.5 59 53.5 30 0.5 59 1 (24" 3xScreens 5760x1080) Defult Nvidia Surrond settings. NEW " bezel adjusted" in surrond settings = -triScr 70 -5 53.5 30 0 53.5 30 0 59 53.5 30 0 59 (24" 3xScreens 5890x1080)
You can still adjust the FOV in game with triple screens, you just have to bind 2 keys in the Secondary Functions options. Look for TriScr Increase FOV, and TriScr Decrease FOV and bind them. I used A and D for those, and W and S for TriScr Shift Display Down / Up (which is tilting the camera up/down). When you hit the FOV keys it will pop up and show (very breifly) what the fov is for each screen as you adjust it, along with the camera pitch up or down info. here's my settings (in inches) for one 25"monitor in the center, and 23" side monitors (the 1 at the end is for reducing the amount of texture flickering in game if you are seeing alot of it) -triScr 32 3 21.5 12 .3 20.25 11.4 .3 50 20.5 11.4 .3 50 1 They said as long as you are consistent with your units of measure it shouldn't matter which you use.
Was originally stated as being the first iteration of tri screen support, so expect improvements. Nearly all asked for features inclusion in RR will inevitably all come down to which way forward S3 decide to take. Seems pointless spending man hours implementing new features that just make porting to DX12 more time consuming. Making the leap to a new engine is the big change needed, not graphically, RR still looks great but it's time to add more to this sim. Be nice to know whether it's U4 or some other option. The quality is definitely there, just need a bit more depth now. Must be just about time for the August update, so who knows? Absolutely none of us, lets just hope S3 have an inkling!
Hello, I have 3 29 "LG 29UM58 Ultrawide monitors and I would like to ask why I do not have a HUD on one monitor but it is smaller and the menu are smaller too. Can not HUD extend to one monitor? Thank you for advice. Sorry for my english.
I think it's due to that the Menu in game is fixed in ratio. Your screens are Ultrawide and will have extra space around the menu due to that.
Hi I have gone through the triple setup and although the image does extend to all 3 screens I have a problem with the main image on screen one not extending to the edge of the screen. please see attached image. Also in the game graphics settings don't allow me to select 3 screens. I have a Radeon GPU and am using eyefinity. My Triple screens work perefectly on Iracing and Assetto so it looks like a RRE issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
It looks like bezel width is wrong in your additionell "start alternative" on the Steam page for RaceRoom Racing Experiance. Try to experiment with different values to see if it helps. Se attached pic.
