    I saw that Formula R3E was released and I thought we will finally get lap and timed races.... But still no option for laps

    I believe it will come in at one point in the future, but is not an absolute priority.

    And considering FR2 is not a real life series, I guess the rules can be made in anyway ;-)

    The game hasn't been patched..
    FR2 was implemented last patch, just not released in store till now.
