If a server is set to Amateur can players turn aids off and run in Get Real mode?
Without going into the use of aids argument I would appreciate some help with this.
    Thanks.

if the car has traction control (try gt3) then you can turn it on. (there are bindable keys in the options menu)

Thanks for the answer, trying to figure out a way to let newcomers have a go at online so if they can use aids it'll help. It seems like the game is designed with blanket aid settings which is a pity.

the only aid in get real is traction control and abs in gt3. gt3 is a class designed for "gentlemen racers" so they are not particularly difficult to drive. the cars are designed of stats and play testing by kelvin van der linde and other adac drivers. id encourage you to try the free silhouette series with traction on the free tracks as they also have these aids. the reason for these aids as apposed to allowing each car to have tc and abs toggleable is so that drivers are more even in multi player. if you wish to drive a series without any aids dtm is a good example and the m1 pro car is great as well.
