Looks great, this + the FFB patch could really put R3E overall on the level it's sound is regarded, IE king of the hill.
Well, there are easier ways to get rid of customers than using the unreal engine, but its the most efficient way of getting rid of AMD users atleast.
Agreed if your gonna upgrade the GFX, might as well go latest possible at that time. DX13 or whatever won't be around for 4 to 6 years. Considering DX9 came out in 2002-2004 and DX11 in 2009.. S3 would be in a good position to just start with DX12 as a visual upgrade
Referring to the unreal engine track record of only providing support for nvidia tech(read, gameworks & physx). The back record of unreal engines working so much better with nvidia hardware, tech demos etc etc.. I know alot of nvidia fansboys start to say that those work on AMD side also(but with a really bad performance) and thus they are supported by unreal engine, but where is things like hairworks etc from the unreal engine then?
… at this moment … ??? We need no new racing sim … We hope you guys are just working on Raceroom! No disappointments pls!
I guess that was the reason that Chris wrote it. There was a leak around and some speculations that there is a successor of r3e in development. But with this statement was clarified that the leak is an update of R3E, because if there is no other game than R3E in Development it only can be R3E. And for sure - sometimes in the future there might be something else in development than R3E.
