Inability to change car setup

I got back into the game today after I got all the updates installed. For some reason, when I go to Setup and try to change something for a car, the screen shows the dimmed cockpit view, but never brings up the setup screen. After 3 to 5 seconds, I return to where I was prior to selecting setup.This happened to me in multiple ranked server races today. Are Ranked servers forced setups or something? I had way too much fuel for the race, and I had no way to change it. Any idea what may be happening?

 

Happened to me the other day. It was when I attempted to 'escape' back to the garage while the game was transitioning between sessions - I guess it broke the game somehow.

I had the exact same problem.
And I wonder if there is an solution to this particular problem?
Maybe re-instal the game?

 

I did validate all my local files and they checked out. So I have my doubts about a reinstall. I will be downloading updates as soon as I see them in hopes they fix this nasty bug.

 

I did the validation myself without a positive outcome unfortunatly

 

i did that few times to cure some bugs and generaly it works but lately on rf2, even validating dont fix the issue, so i did uninstall and reinstall and then it worked.
so bare in mind that the uninstall/reinstall process has to be done on some issues.

 

Sometimes it is state held outside the game files themselves. Good point.
