Apparently this game is making a comeback if the fundraiser reaches 10K USD by September. https://projecttorque.racing/ Not sure what to make of it as this has been tried before and failed. Did anyone here play one of the variants of this game? It was a lot of fun back when the online player base was big.
It was fun, huge potential at the time. I played it maybe in 2009 (under the name project torque). The very large download sizes combined with slow internet meant i didnt stick with it long. It was a pain to keep updated. I had too many distractions back then aswell so never put the time in either. I did try heat again in 2012 or 13 but only a flash.
