Is there a way to reset seat position?

Is there a way to reset the seat position within the game. I can't find a way to do it at the moment.

I use the cockpit camera reset option once bound to a key

 

I've bound the cockpit perspective up,down,left,right and reset and they don't seem to work for me at all!
Is that the buttons you are talking about?

I particularly want to move my view left/right sometimes hence why I tried it a recently as yesterday but they don't work!

 

Is that only for triple screen though? Will try it when I get chance

Yes. It resets the camera back to the origin point. Ive used it when i have altered FOV and itr looks off or if i have changed the seat (camera) position. In older Gmotor games numpad5 used to be reset. Im not sure if its still hardcoded in RRE but the camera views are still hard coded like games of old

eg: Insert= cockpit,bonnet,bumper home= side cams front and rear pageup= chasecam pdgdwn= trackside

maybe numpad5 still resets seat changes

 

Numpad 5 resets camera in chase view but I don't think it does in cockpit mode. My keyboard doesn't have a numpad which is a pain as they are hard coded as you say. Might have to get one of those seperate wired keypads and mount it up.
