    Hi,

Since I was missing a tool where I can compare my laptimes, see my progression and analyze telemetry data I developed a tool that is capable of handling all this stuff.

The tool is currently in heavy development and I think now is the right moment to get some users into it.

At the current stage laptimes and sector times are recorded. Telemetry is in the making, but this is a separate topic because of data amounts etc.
    What you need to do:
    • Download and launch the client from here
    • Launch RR and do your laps.
    • Find your recorded laps there: www.010102.de
The client is not shiny at all at the moment, i am working on a new version, but it works and I would like to receive feedback from the community at the current stage.

For those who are interested the stack:
    - Spring Boot Backend
    - Cassandra DB
    - Elasticsearch

Looking forwards to your comments and ideas.

    Alex

The photo you attached reminded me so much of what the results at my local rental kart track used to look like (my attached photo :D) that i had to give it a go :D
Everything worked well for me. Just a couple questions for more tiny stuff. Could you perhaps highlight the best sector times? And probably more difficult if possible at all but can you also include lap times of invalid laps or does the game not even measure those?

    Glad you like it!

Hightlight sector times: jepp its possible and im putting it on my list.
Invalid laps in RR is kinda tricky, because the game is not submitting the times via the api then. But this is already on this list, I will work around this issue and measure the time separatly.

I will let you know here as soon as these things are done.

In the meantime i have updated the UI. On the left side all tracks with laps and the amount of laps are listed

Another question, when going on the website and choosing just a track itll show my first/worst lap. When choosing a track first and then the car itll show my fastest lap. Is that intentional or should it always show the fastest lap?

Yes, there was an issue with the hoster. Its back up again.
I think it should have no effect on the game, even if the client cant connect the backend. Only the laptimes will be missing.

Am I correct or did you experience any side effects while racing?

Ok puh, i was worried that I might have ruined someone´s race.
I´m investigating what happened. There was a bunch of new people registering, seems that my hoster didnt like the amount of data being transferred and shut down the connection...

I´m considering moving to some other hoster but nothing is for free obviously :)

No need to worry as im only using it in practice sessions anyways. In a race battles and traffic would result in lap times all over the place to the point where i wouldnt bother looking for consistency or anything like that anyways :D

I just released the new bright and shiny client v.2.0 :D

Users need to register now. This secures the transmitted laptimes and enables users to change the displayed username.
You can register (just a email / username required) on the mail page ( www.010102.de/register ) or in the client (will open the browser).

After logging in on the homepage, you can change your account settings by clicking on the top right button.
Existing laptimes will be automatically assigned to the registered users.

Let me know if there are any issues.

A Bug has been fixed, where sessions would not update correctly and laptimes would be missing. Client will update automatically

    Update 3.2:
    - Fixes a bug where session recording would fail after some time
    - Introduces telemetry recording:
Telemetry will be avaliable for past 3 valid laps. In order to access the telemetry charts you need to click on the chart symbol on the right side of the screen on the page. Recording frequency is 10Hz.

Telemetry is limited to speed, rpm, brake, throttle at the moment.
