@leillo1975 is error 87 fixed also? Just took your comment from the github board: Error Code: 87 is a different error code. Before, this errors was 17995 or 0. Can you upload the game log? So its not working anymore?
On RaceRoom Discord Help Room the moderator tells me this: "Client is failing to connect to the content server. This typically happens when servers are down during maintenance but I don't think there was one recently, so if this is ongoing it sounds like sth on his side might be preventing the connection. Hard to tell what's causing this, might be some VPN or DNS issue, might be ISP blocking." EDIT: More Windows10 users have also this problem . Seems a RRRE server issue. I would try it later
@leillo1975 I already commented on github issue but I'm having a shadow glitch which is very annoying. Could you please take a loot at the video in issue page. I can't post the link here
I suppose you talk about this: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1321#issuecomment-942768433 https://odysee.com/@ggnoredo:2/raceroom_proton_shadow_glitch But I think is a glitch of DXVK, or something about Mesa. I played with an Nvidia GTX1060 and 470 driver without this kind of problem
I've been waiting for this moment for ages, now i just have to hope game will work on my 390 drivers @leillo1975 can i ask you what's your system configuration?
My current specs are: -Ubuntu 21.10 -Ryzen 7 5800x *8/16 -32GB RAM DDR4-3200 -Nvidia RTX-3070-8GB (470) but I think that could work in much more older confs
Ok thank you. Well, i do have a quad core i5 with 8 gb of ram and a 2 gb geforce 530 with 390 drivers (latest for this graphic card), on fedora 35. These exceed minimum requirements, but i hope proton won't slow things down, because for example performances on race07 on proton are not so different from my old dual core cpu with 512 mb radeon card and 4 gb ram (with windows back then) Still it's great news, been looking for that in ages, hope it will also come on regular proton other than protonge...
