I got the G29, which didn't have any issues with the FFB. The sound is about the same as G25/G27 if you crank canned effects on.
Don't know how noisy it is really, can't hear it over the game anyway, except if you set up wrong and get that middle point wheel rattle but min force settings solved that. The motors themselves are quiet, little whine now and again from helical gearing but a little whining is expected in a car anyway. Plus I'm such a noob that all my other senses are a bit numbed as I try to memorise tracks.. Got brought in a Mcdonalds the other day, was chuffed, until she told me not only had I asked for 1 but I paid for it too just as lights went out for a race..sure my hearing will come back probably same time more or less as I finish a race without the tip o my tongue sticking out ;-)
