So my current go-to video editing software (Lightworks) has an annoying bug that screws up the sound. Thus I'm looking for a decent alternative and since a lot of people in here post videos, I figured someone might be able to point me in the right direction. Couple of demands though. I won't spend huge amounts of money on it (so no Sony Vegas pls.) A free option is obviously preferable, but a decently priced indie/shareware version will do as well. It has to be able to do: Multi-source & multi-channel editing. If all it can do is edit a single file, I'm not interested. Video-merging and picture-in-picture. Indexable image-keying. That one's a biggie. A decent library of cuts, fades and dissolves. Capable of importing all recent file-types and containers, i.e. mpeg4, .h264, Xvid etc. .flv would be nice but I can live without it. Capable of exporting in decent resolution. 1080p if possible, but 720p minimum. Capable of decent compression. An export time that isn't measured in days. No water-marking or other ads Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
**edit** Yo Lars!!!! Long time no see. I just noticed your name. If you can find out how to change the original account info, you can have my license. I haven't used it in several years. Silly me, I bought a license and never use it. I think it cost just abit more than my iRacing Audi R8. I use Magix Video Deluxe. Reasonably priced and fullfills all your demands. I always combine several video tracks for a final video with it. It is quick, intuitive and costs only a fraction of Sony Vegas. They offer free trial periods, if you wanted to try it out. --> http://www.magix.com/index.php?id=2...cP0uekxzmk3q&gclid=CIHv2P63w9ACFUcQ0wodNUcISQ
Well, I tend to spend most of my time at RD. Appreciate the offer, but I've tried other AVS products before, and.......no. Thanks, but no thanks. Cheers mate, I'll have a look at the trial thingy.
I always use the VSDC Free video editor. Don't know if it requires al your wishes but i believe so and it's free. http://www.videosoftdev.com/free-video-editor I think this is the link. Greetings
I've been using Movie studio 13 Platinum on Steam for a while now, you have to pay, but it's 50% due to black Friday sales at the moment.
