It was maybe 10 years ago that lotus had one of these on their stand at the Goodwood FOS. I was chatting to the guy and asked "what's the plan? Are you going to set up a race series for them?" "No" he replied...."they are just for track days, you tell us where you want to drive it and we bring it along". I laughed and pointed out that anyone in the market for such a thing could easily buy an old F1 car (early 90s at that point) or an f3000 and actually race it if they so wanted. I wasn't in the slightest bit surprised when the project flopped.....
Well personally id rather drive the t125 than a 90s f1 car so they got one potential customer (although theyd have to supply me with the money as well)
