    Hi,

In cockpit view cars’ dashboards look bad as if I had really low resolution. Is there a graphical setting that can make them look better? I’m running 1080p monitor, but it shouldn’t be that bad. I can upload my screenshot if necessary.

Did you move your camera/seat forwards?

And no, I don't think you can. And I wouldn't sacrifice performance because of a prettier dashboard.

Some of the in car dashboards are a bit low Res for some reason. Something to do with scaling maybe. One solution is to enable the full dashboard in the HUD and then use alt-m to move and resize it to be where the in car dash should be. The HUD dashboards are always full resolution.

I don't think so. Also the problem occurs in many cars.

To be honest I think it's because the dashboards are rendered as part of the car model/cockpit. There isn't a fix as such. Its probably a limitation of how our dashboards are made. In other news, get yourself a better CPU! Generally but especially in Raceroom it will be holding you back massively. I went from an i5 3740 to an i5 10500 and the difference was huge.

It's the same as I see so I guess so. There's no setting anywhere that will improve it.

OK thanks anyway. It's weird because depending on a car the dashboards can look really bad with unreadable fonts.

The dashboards run on some ancient technology. Flash based. No one in the studio knows exactly how to program them so they are sort of hacked together. Hence they aren't the right dashboards for the real cars. It's a bit of a problem but not one with an immediate solution.
