OK, but Hockenheim was 7km+ and is now (of course sadly) 4,5 km long.

This swedish track go from "Mickey Mouse" to "more Mickey Mouse".

I was really surprised how it is possible to make a "short" track from Karlskoga, which is already "not very long".

Not that I disagree but it's not every day you hear Sebring mentioned in discussion about Mantorp. Ideally we can all marvel at the Anderstorp banking soon and compare it to... Shit I dunno, Barber Motorsports park? Something something Watkins? :D

    Also, Mantorp demands trucks!

Really ? The old Hockenheim was pedal to the metal (and falling asleep during the straights) just interrupted by two (or three ?) chicanes and a bit of Arena feeling at the end - don't know what`s so unique or interesting bout it ??? the new layout is not of my favourites at all, but I find it neither better nor worse compared to the classic layout.....but nostalgia ("Yeee, back in the days anything was better than today", said Greybeard and stuffed his pipe, rocking in his rocking chair") is very common these days :D

If you fill your pipe with the right stuff, every track becomes interesting! ;)

I am a huge fan of american race tracks, I can understand the popularity of Sebring, but rollercoaster tracks like Lime Rock (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Lime+Rock+Video+Track+Map+with+Sam+Posey), Road Atlanta or Watkins Glen are more interesting in my opinion.

PS: One new track per quarter is enough. So we are already ready for this year:

    01 - 03.2017 = Silverstone
    04 - 06.2017 = Karlskoga Motorstadion
    07 - 09.2017 = Mantorp Park
    10 - 12.2017 = Anderstorp

A longer version or multiple would be ideal, just cos the longer version of mantorp is not in use should not discount it being one of the layouts surely?1

you explained exactly why it was unique, long blasts, low downforce, big top speeds then cars squirming through the stadium section. There were not many like it and now there is even less. So many tracks are so same old same old nowadays, between 4 to 5 km long, or less, 12 - 15 corners and a medium length straight. Boring. Nothing wrong with a bit of high speed slip streaming.

The old Hockenheim was a great challenge with historic beasts, but nowadays with a well balanced modern racecar it would be way too easy and boring I think.

Whenever people clamour for new tracks, it seems to be the same old venues that are present in a dozen other titles.
I applaud Sector 3 for bringing us the lesser known tracks (by lesser known, I really mean "where the hell is that???").

Sure, for the faster motors, you need a bigger track, and that probably means one of the more famous venues.

I would like to propose a couple of suggestions for new tracks....but I can't, as I haven't heard of them yet.:)

So you are saying we need a couple of really old cars? (Model T racing anyone?)
