Your game has enormous potential This is good what you are doing. The line of development seems to want to get closer to an iracing. What is your development policy for this game? Sign up for the long term or release a new game? (GTR3). Personally, the negative highlights for me are the absence of Carrer mode or Championship offline, Achievements / Challenges, for cars: lmp1 / lmp2 /more GTE, tracks: Le Mans , Sebring, Oulton park, Pau. To be continue
June can't get here soon enough. I'm going to just get real acquainted with the current FFB, that way I will actually feel the difference, this time around.
I am a little nervous about the changes to FFB. As a user of a Logitech G27, I find that R3E has the best feeling FFB for me. Much better than AC, RF2 or ACC. None of those feel good on lower end gear. They feel like over assisted power steering in that they are too light feeling and relay very little information about the road surface or grip levels. In R3E I can get a nice weight to the steering and the wheel communicates what the car is doing. I am worried that R3E may do the same thing that other sims have done and favor the high end equipment while sacrificing the feel and control when using entry priced gear. I fear the worse but I am hoping for the best..
Tbh, i have to agree ^. I also use G27 and ffb would have been last thing to update in my eyes as it really is best out there. But there is also been lots of vocal complaints mostly from hi-end users so i can understand why they choose to update it anyway. But maybe our worries are unnecessary and the new ffb will be even better, we'll see!
Will the multiplayer series/championships have better matching than the current system? At present, the rookie servers particularly are like having F1 drivers in the same race as weekend Kart drivers and Destruction Derbyists
The original game had challenges: you had various car/track combos and 3 levels of difficulty. It was basically hotlapping but you had to drive through these green hoops on the corners (i.e, stay on the racing line) and finish in a certain time. I was sorry when they went .
3 things prevented me from coming back to this sim, despite i think it has great potential. They are (from importance order): - NO grippy racing line or dynamic racing line (same grip from one edge to another edge of the asfalt is just dumb) - Poor FFB (rF2 is the benchmark IMO) - No weather Cheers and keep up the good work, i'm curious about what's coming
We have testers using all manner of gear from g series wheels up to direct drive and all of them (us) prefer new ffb.
I agree with a dd2 I favour RR and find others lacking especially rf2 That is good to here as the change has a bit of trepidation for me as I like the existing
Here also my first wheel was a Logitech Momo then G25+27 and now a T500 RS with Sparco 383 Mod. To me R³E is still the best FFB in Racing game no matter What Whell you use!!
Per quanto riguarda i Circuiti bisogna aggiungere la gommatura progressiva.Aggiornare le auto GT3 e possibilmente poter giocare off line (senza collegarsi per forza a internet) come gli altri sim.
I skipped a few posts, apologies if this has already been answered: 1. Are we getting road surface/ road bumps effects? and 2. Would you mind keeping gear shift effect because no other sim have this cool feature unless you are using buttkickers/ shakers? 3. Engine vibrations should stay please.
I hope that there will come some good default FFB presets for different steering wheels, such as the Simucube 2 Pro, which I have. Have not raced for a long time, and I am itching to start again. But I think I will wait til the june update comes out.
Sounds pretty promising. Guess it will have the typical Hodgkinson effect on the sim like with all physics updates recently. Just improving things noticeable. Looking forward This formular-car, teased as upcoming content: is this an Indycar? Gonna be a good year (again)
