I'm having the 'mouse cursor moving' problem in the game menu. I've tried the 'menu_controller_options.xml config fix but it didn't work. I am using a wireless 360 controller (no wheel).

    Thanks

    Try unplugging all USB devices.

The only USB devices I have plugged in are: keybjoard, mouse, and 360controller.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes I double checked the config file, unplugged the controller and restarted the computer. Mouse still moving on restart with only the mouse and keyboard plugged in. Unplugged the mouse and the cursor stopped moving.

Unfortunately, this issue is really preventing me from playing the game.

Do you have access to another mouse you could try in case it's a problem with the mouse itself?

Yes, it seems to be a problem with your mouse. Which model is it? Does it have additional buttons?

Thank you everyone for your help. I replaced my MSI DS100 gaming mouse with a generic optical mouse and the problem seems to have disappeared. The only unfortunate thing is having to swap mouse controllers as needed.

    :)

That's an interesting thread; thank you. Too bad no solution was put forward.
