Im getting a reduction in FPS the more AI i have in VR at 90% scaling (Say 10 cars up to 20 cars it drops from 90 to 70fps). Especially near the pit complexes. Does this game use all cores? I have an AMD Ryzen 3700X 8 core with 32GB ram and a Nvidia 3080 which i was hoping was going to work great. Ive applied a few VR tips and windows changes from online but the improvement was small.

Am i doing something wrong or is it just my expectations are to unrealistric?

I'm not sure it's because of dx9. For example, Borderlands 2 is also a dx9 game, but it can use multiple cores.

No. The use of multiple threads is something that needs to be programmed into the code, which simply is not the case for RaceRoom.

And from what I heard it's not an easy task to code good multithreading. So, regarding the constant lack of manpower within the S3 devteam, I don't think this is something anybody should hold ones breath for.
