I haven't played much in the last few months.. single player works fine.
Multi is a different story. I can join to a race fine but when I click on drive it seems to lock the game up (the count down timer freezes) and takes about 20 seconds to get to the car but I'm actually in a hood view looking forward rather than in the seat. A few seconds later it kicks me back to the multi menu and says connection lost.
    Any thoughts ?

Yes verified. Tried installing newest nvidia driver and lowering game settings...internet is 196 mbs dl and 19 up...30 ms latency.
Maybe 1 out of 10 times it puts me in the cockpit I can drive.
I'm in Canada and the lowest multi ping I get is 70...the survers seem to average 125.
Is there any router settings I can optimize ?

Also have i7 4500k with 12 gb ram.

The only thing I've done recently is uninstall the game and install it on a second ssd

    Steam-Library in the default Steam-Folder?
Have you cleared the SimBin-Folder in /My Documents/ after the reinstall?

I'll have to check the steam folder...where is the default location for it...
I'll clear the sinbin folder as well... I'm assuming there are certain things that don't get moved after a reinstall such as car setups etc. So these probably exist on C: and the game is On D: now... is this an issue ?

The default-location would be something like c:\program files\steam\steamapps
It is better to have that installed there as it seems to cause issues on some systems (not on all)
