Multiplayer numbers next to drivers names?

    Hi all,
    see the numbers in "[...]" next to the drivers names above the cars (e.g. "M.Spalding [40]").
    What do those numbers mean? Is it current ping?

    I think it is the incident points.

    Pretty sure its the ping but since it now is one person thinking versus another person thinking well have to wait for someone who actually knows :D

    I am also pretty sure it is ping, as those numbers are non-zero as soon as driver join the lobby. And number jumps up and down during racing as it can be seen in this video.

    You are right, if it was incident points then they all could walk home on the spot! :)
    I confused it with the numbers you see on second monitor in paranthesis (which I think really are incident points).
