New Features/ Options wishlist 2020-2021

Usually after an update there's a loading screen with the updated class and the info that old setups may not work.
Actually currently, all the info in-game is passed through loading screens.

Might be cool to have a news section in the menu.

 

Correct me if im wrong, but for a Drive Trough, you just have to drive... trough...
No need to confirm you doin it.
At least for me it always cleared the drive trough this way

 

I think you have to confirm serving the penalty, make it green. With manual pit stop in may be possible to do a drive through and make it count, but if you have AI controlled pitstop it will probably do a regular pit stop with the preset actions.

 

Possible for AI controlled, i always do manual stops.
Tried once AI in a Race recently and got DT, so never again ^^

Please think about these introductions:
1) Hot lap mode
2) Remove the "invalid lap". For example, in Nordshleife (between 6 and 7 minutes) if you put two wheels on the grass the time is reset. You could just put the time in the red. But leave it.
3) Make a more complete HUD with the tires temperature and best lap. I know there are external apps but they slow down my fps.
4) Introduce the best lap by circuit / category when you choose a track.
5) If is possible think about Mugello, Estoril, Interlagos.

It was AI control. The race was 60 minutes so I was looking forward to grabbing a drink and relaxing while the AI took over, but then everything went WRONG™

 

Ability to create/edit pit-stop presets during practice sessions.

 

Ability to view who and what class has registered for any given multiplayer race - esp multiclass - so you dont end up racing against yourself...

 

1) We have Leaderboard challenges already = Time Trial = Hot Lap, am I missing something?
2) I agree, it's annoying the time goes away during an invalid lap.
3) Download OtterHud, it's truly amazing, configure low process. I wish the functionality of OtterHud would be native in the game.
4) Great Idea. It would be better than currently navigating to leaderboards.

 

Better end of race stats/information, ie. ability to to scroll through race results, individual lap times on each lap for each driver, best lap times and splits for each driver, etc.

just a thought, couldn't S3 use the new particle graphic system to simulate the gravel?

I mean, when in real life a car goes to the gravel (sideways at high speed for example) it throws gravel around

I know its not an important thing for the wishlist, but I think would give a bit more of real life touch to the sim, and having already the particle system maybe its not that hard to implement

 

Not sure if this has been proposed a 1000 times, but as someone who almost exclusively does league races I really think it should be possible to join in warmup and even in qualifying...and even in the race (starting the late-joiner from the pitlane) As an option to set on the dedicated server of course, to give people the choice.
If you have a race evening with 2 or 3 races back to back and you get a disconnect, your raceday is done, which is a shame.
Or if you didn't make it to race 1 there is still a chance to make it to race 2 (still starting from the pitlane, but at least you have a race)

It is an option to have this on AC, so it would be great to have it in Raceroom as well.

 

Ability to visit garage after race finish.

Main thing is to be able to save an altered setup (assuming it's proved successful), and also to check condition of post-race tires.
