That's a cool rig. Change it a bit for a car sim and you got a good g-force sim. You would still have to add the second axis, but half of the work is done. Second mount a 55" screen stationary in front of it, and get rid of that wimpy one..
Stop dreaming. They'll keep on working on GT Masters 2016, ..17, ..18 ; The DTM 2016, ..17, ..18 ; WTCC.... Sector 3 isn't building the best sim' racing game, they're only working on the series they like with le licences they bought. If they bought them for 5 years, we still have years to eat that. The question to know if Sector 3 is interested in more exotic series, they're alone to be able to answer. But one day they'll have to ear that the persons that pay them are waiting for that.
they almost did they had the v8sc volvo s60 licence... but now that forza has a v8sc license they are probably less keen to give it out. I hate to think how much turn 10 payed for it.
RRE is not just DTM or ADAC GTM. We're having a wide field of very different cars and series. Group 5, GTO, P1, P2, etc.. Some cars are already announced, like BMW 235i, KTM XBOW, etc.. I'll accept any bet, there is more to come, hoping for a ragtag VLN-pack.
I'm going to be the boring guy and repeat myself - 60's / 70's cars. I'd kill for something like the Lotus 49 or any classic American muscle car (that '70 Camaro from Race 07 man!).
One thing I like about the Official Series (DTM, ADAC GT Masters, WTCC) is that all, if not most of the tracks are available for a full simulated season. I think we have plenty of cars for now. I can't hope to drive them all . How about give me a full season's worth of tracks for relevant series? I left a couple of street courses out. Open wheel cars are covered pretty well WOW!?? The things you learn..... (Current or former Grand Prix courses) Monza, Hockenheim, Spa, Zandvoort, Paul Ricard, Zolder, Hungaroring, Indianapolis, Nurburgring, Red Bull ring, Shanghai, Suzuka. Sorry people....can't finish this post.... I gotta start my mini/historic FR2 season....
Hey DriftMachine ! RRRE must certenly be the best game we've ever played that doesn't mean that it can't become better. I'm not talking about more and more contents but better and better contents. Groupe 5 and IMSA are really excellent but do we really need GTM 2013, 2014, 2015 ; DTM 2013, 2014, 2015 ; WTCC 2014, 2015. I just say that maybe we could forget one year out of two and change them for several new series.
I was not trying to hate. I was trying to be funny. I am guilty of wanting more too. A while back I was asking for a drift series. It got voted no to hell and back, but at least the handbrake got re enabled.
