Since I just built a new computer, I have been monitoring CPU\GPU temps, usage, etc. with MSI Afterburner to make sure everything is running normal and it has, but there is one weird thing I've noticed that the nerd in me is curious about.

Why would my CPU and GPU temps and usage percentage be higher when I am in a practice session alone on the track compared to when I am racing with a field of 57 cars? The framerate obviously drops in the race, but oddly enough the CPU and GPU usage percentage and temps are significantly lower as well. I would have thought it would be the opposite because of all the extra load from having AI cars involved.

Just curious if someone has any ideas because the nerd in me needs to know...
