I recently tested the M1 Procar and the Ford Mustang GTO, using paddles (no H-Box) and I'm surprised to have so much engine overheating.
With Procar I never go in red RPM zone, I change gear up before 9000 rpm and gear down below 7000 rpm and this is still too much, engine blinks in yellow and get damages (between 5 and 10 % on a 60 minutes race).

    Is it expected?

Not expected, will look into it.
Any other cars you've noticed this with?
    Thank you.

    Thanks for your answer.
Actually no, but maybe it affects other GTO's. Would you like a video with the M1 on Sonoma to illustrate?

Note that with the Mustang I was a bit violent with the engine, so maybe that was my fault, but with the M1 I didn't expect it.
