Any chance we could get old version of the current (and upcoming) tracks for Raceroom? Some would be more effort than others. Say: 1980s Monza 1990s Silverstone 1990s Hockenheim 1990s Spa Francorchamps Would be a nice way to add some more variety without a huge amount of additional work.
Would also love to see some old tracks that no longer exists. Like Rouen and Enna Pergusa! I don't know if Dijon is still active? But would pay quite a lot for that track, one of my all time favorites!!
We do have the same taste. Dijon was my favorite on Gt legend. Enna in gtr2 was awesome. Rouen always felt so different to me. Really fun and fast. definitely some of my favorite tracks right there
Agree! http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/08/the-volcanic-rush-of-clermont-ferrand/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charade_Circuit
if we get the 1992 spa that would fit with the touring classic's class, the bmw e30 won the spa24 in a livery similar to one you may recognize. Spoiler [/spoier]
Dijon is still quite active and is hosting one of the biggest historic event in France, the Golden Age Grand Prix : http://www.circuit-dijon-prenois.com/assets/images/calendrier/2015/calendrier_2015.jpg Sadly, the GT Tour (french GT Championship) is not racing there anymore. Charade is a bit quieter though, with only a handful of events in the year : http://www.charade.fr/agenda/
Yeah, I still fire up GTL from time to time just to take those awesome 60's and 70's cars out for a spin on that great track!! Wouldn't that be something S3S, to bring an GT + GP Legends Pack to R3E with a lot of closed tracks along with existing but old layouts? When it comes to licensing of old tracks and layouts, is it easier or harder?
I think it would be a huge amount of additional work; there's very little scenery that crosses over, only a little of the layout and elevation. Silverstone, for example, is hardly recognisable from 20 years ago, it would need just as much modelling, texturing and work as a completely new track pretty much, I would guess.
Österreichring! I hate how they put these enormous run off areas everywhere now, they ruined Pouhon.
