Sorry I didn't understood as I've not been suffering from any of those bugs, although I know there are some people with ping 0 errors. But you can read from the OP that it will have a potential fix for it. I think it still doesn't make it "very poor", it's mostly bugs that should be solved in the next updates.
Yes Alex, the timer error, I will cite an example, with dtm 15 in Hockenheim, the first part is usually + - 21seg with the bug the timer records 17seg. This also happens with other categories and other circuits. sorry for my English
Better not lol..... I love the Green Hell but find it absolutely exhausting - so I don't race it very often
Sweden has midsommarafton friday = drinking lots of burn wine, eating herring, dancing "little frogs" around a green pole...so tomorrow, thursday is last chance this week! Lets GO!
So, Looks like I have to eat my words again and let you guys know that we are pushing the patch to next week again. There was no power outage this time but while testing fixes we started successfully reproducing more MP specific bugs. Then we fixed those, then they caused some side effects and we fixed those and so it goes. It's all positive though. The delay is not because of any major issues (that we know of at this moment). Wanting to confirm the last fixes for a bit longer is one reason. The other reason is the fact that this Friday is an official holiday in Sweden so we won't be around to monitor and hotfix if things go south after patching. Since there is no rush we decided to play it safe and do it next week. There is no big feature to tease but we hope you will find that this patch will improve your Multiplayer experience. Apart from bringing back the garage phase so you can set up your car and fuel before the race, we have various fixes for the infamous ping 0 issue, invisible cars, session timer not counting down, car starting to fly, qualifying lap not counting if it's too close to session end time and more. Thank you guys for your understanding and patience.
Sounds good that you seem to found some nasty problems in the game/code. For me it's no problem to wait a bit longer as on my side everything is running fine at the moment and the EM keeps me busy. But for sure - those with the Ping 0-issue, timing and connection-Problems can't wait to get the update. I hope they understand that this delay increases the chance that especially their problem might be fixed within that additional Dev-Time.
Sounds like you've been busy. And I completely agree, there's no particular rush. Getting it done right is more important than getting it done now. Although that won't stop people from complaining.
That doesn't matter at all. I'm having trouble with my Fanatec CSV wheel base V2 repeatedly and I'll have to send it to Fanatec for service. So take your time and improve as much as possible. I'm gonna tell you, when it's back. Well, I have to leave now ...
