News Physics Update - Engine maps & Energy recovery

I guess in reality it's all down to the accountants, cold blooded and ruthless to the core.
The fact that Ferrari, Lambo etc need the money from gaming seems ludicrous until you take a peek at the numbers and of course one division is growing, while the other is a Dinosaur clinging on for dear life.
The only future for Sims is surely historical content with a smattering of e series thrown in for relevance. I'm sure the bean counters are already pricing up their clients back catalogues, rubbing their hands at the thought of making money with no further injection of funds. There's a real chance some of the smaller niche manufacturers could make more money than they did as a car maker. Lets face it, if they could charge us for looking they would.
I'm pretty sure EA laid the path for paying manufacturers for the privilege and just to restrict others, probably their accountants idea.

 

I'll be honest, I haven't really paid attention to the details in the last couple of months in terms of development status of the various categories, but now I spent a big portion of my Sunday jumping in and out of cars and experimenting with the different tyre model versions and stuff, just to see what and what not to expect and all I can say that I'm hyped up now for tomorrow. I tested those few categories already on 4.1 again and man, when those 2020 DTM tyres finally reach their operating window, it is a very enjoyable ride. I'm particularly interested in the evolution of the TCR cars, mainly because we still have two rounds to go in our WTCR league.

 

5.2GB update is downloading, can we get the changelog yet please?

Seriously! The banner is still up as under maintenance, but you have to know ahead of the period being officially finished.

 

Kinda weird reaction to a 4 page long changelog.

 

No triple tilt I'm guessing.

I'm crying Almost a year since i first asked and still the biggest update of the year and triple users are left out !!

Been living with it for nearly a year now, that's more than many of my girlfriends when i was younger

Yeah a bit unbelievable. I put so much money in this game. Not playing because the view is not adjustable the way it should be.
Great sim and all but this is getting annoying. please developers let us triple users enjoy the game as well,

 

I am tripple screen user as well and I can definitely adjust the view to my liking.

 

My PC dowmloaded the 5.2 GB update. I could start the game but shop was slow but Brands hatch GP was there to buy. I will go shopping tomorrow when things have calmed down. This update is phenomenal. All new contents are "must buy". Happy to support sector 3. Great job. Best sim.

Having a third eye and some kinda funny glasses might help.

 

@2ndLastJedi and @Bull Shark the triples tilt is something that has been looked at, that I can promise you. There is a whole new UI in the works that has many changes in the way that screens/fov etc are dealt with. It's still beta at the moment as it wasn't ready for this update. The screen tilt especially has been discussed at length, it's just not doable in the current menu system as I understand it. I hope for both of you it can be implemented soon. I'll keep pushing for it for certain.

I see I can opt in to the new UI, will that give me access to tilt or is it still not working in that version of the new UI also?
