Don't think I can detect 'wrong way', and you're the only person who seems to get confused over which way to go ;)

How about adding "the pit crew is ready for you" when we press the pit request button, or a moment after?

Yeah, that one always stumps me...and heppsan apparently. ;)

Thought this would be easy as there's a warning when going the wrong way, that it might be in the playerorientation value...but if it isn't put out...

Thought it could be useful after a spin maybe...of course on most tracks it is obvious, but if one doesn't know so sure and goes for max immersion, meaning all overlays off, it would be a nice occasion to swear away.

Not looked too closely at player orientation but you might be right. I'd just assumed it was orientation relative to some common direction (north or whatever) but it might actually relative to the track at the current point. I'll have a fiddle when I'm back

If keyboard/joystick button status field is in the shared memory, that might be possible.
( and additional control of the app too. )

warning message idea "the stewards have given us a warning for cutting the track, keep between the white lines", "we have been given a warning for track limits" and "If you keep cutting the track we will get a penalty"

I think S3 will be wasting their time in developing their own pit to car app cause this one is near perfect.

No, not in R3E as of yet. ;)
And at the most common moment of making it the wrong way, (in the pits) we are turned slightly and facing the direction we should go.
In Race 07 on the other hand, I don't know how many times I've made the wrong turn out on the pits from the garage.. . :D

But S3S have added some tracks lately that I'm not super familiar with, and a big barrel roll with a spin can be quite disorienting!
So it might actually come in handy. :)

Can you start a new thread for this, please. Unable to find this post after weeks.

I tried the apps last week-end and find it gorgous !

Very well done, very great work here!

There's only one little thing I didn't get right. I don't know if it's a known issue (if so forgive me, I didn't read all the topic)
It seems that it doesn't give the right number for hundreths of seconds. I hear well the timing: minutes and seconds are correct, but after it doesn't match the real value.
Anybody else on this one ?

The tenths should be correct but it doesn't give hundredths so it will round to the nearest tenth. So 0.16 will be read as 0.2.

At least, that's the intention - if its still wrong give me a shout :)

Agreed. I think this adds so much to this game and it's THE best spotter app in any racing sim I've ever played.

Sorry, I don't have a plan to start a new thread for this at the moment.

I must say I would find my team telling me how many laps or how long the race will be a little silly. I think this is one of the things you are supposed to know in advance (at least).

Is it possible to detect if the car behind me is in the same lap. That would be helpful. I would expect something like "Let him pass!" or so.
