Sector 3 is probaly hard at testing until everything works perfectly. I also cant wait to see the update but it might be better to wait a little longer rather than having a bunch of new threads reporting bugs.
"Patience" is one of the skills required of RaceRoomRacer. By developing "perseverance", you can wait until the content is implemented.
Thank you S3, this car is just amazing! Yesterday I took it for a ride through the Green Heel during sunset and my smile grew bigger and bigger with every new lap and when I finally finished the first clean one I heard Freddy singing „Don‘t stop me now....“
Since the update i did 5 races with this car and OMG i love this car so much The handling of this car is awesome, very satisfying to drive on the limit. It also sounds very good. But most satisfying is racing this car with a full field of AI's on tracks like Zolder, Most, Mid Ohio,... BIG THUMPS UP to the whole team who created this car, one of the best cars ever made in sim land !!!!
Have not done enough laps yet, to give any opinion on this little gem but I have done enough laps to drawl over the sound, absolutely sublime, what a growler, fair shout @Anthony Monteil truly nailed it, bravo!
Agreed, the new breed of cars in raceroom just feel amazing, so much information coming through the wheel. They just feel so alive! My favourite cars are still the gtr2, jump out of one of those into a GT3 and the GT3 just feels dead in comparison. Can't wait until Alex's physics are rolled out onto all cars.
...this car is soooooooooooooooooooooo much fun to drive. I just love how you can dance it around corners using throttle control to balance the car or to get it turn in etc. Feels amazing sounds amazing... well done guys
Did a 30 min race at Zolder earlier today, with 18 cars at 100% dificulty. The AI was struggling a lot. In pretty much every lap they would either crash or spin on the first chicane, and brake too much and too early on the second chicane and on the last tight left corner before the finish line. Also, I had to restart the race a few times, and the first corner was rarelly a clean one, with some ocasional AI spins, but not as often as on the chicane. As for the car itself: absolute perfection! I like it even more than the Group C cars, which I didn't expect at all. This and the 934 are now my favourite cars in the game.
Bought this one and am forcing myself to use manual and clutch only ( I am new to 3 pedal setup....).....not so easy but getting a feel for it. Very nice Porsche model. Hopefully I'll be ready to race it soon!
I finally had time to get this car a proper spin, and I don't get it... I mean, on paper it doesn't look that interesting, a lowish powered, older, rear-engine, almost production car, with the stopping performance of a freight train, and a back akin to a nervous child always trying to peek what is happening in front... But man, it is ton of fun. The way R3E can translate weight transfer through visual and ffb is just sublime, and makes this car so much fun to drive. Approaching Rivazza on Imola, trying to gently start to brake on the kink, feeling how unsettled the car is, balancing the steering and brake inputs...so much fun So much character in this car, and I think character is the word that best describes the stuff sector3 has been putting out lately
