Reducing the rear wing reduces the understeering.

I also thought the camber looked a bit high and lowered it a bit. Then Georg Ortner dropped into one of our club evens with default suspension settings last week and lapped us.

In a comment he answered about the sounds that IRacing is by far the most accurate.

You can't argue with that. They have the correct transmission whine. But that's the only thing.

If you view the video unbiased he clearly gives his opinion mentioning the things he find more important and where his opinion is based on. And it’s pretty easy:

    1) iRacing for track accuracy and the flex of the car and overall feel of the handling of the car
    2) AC for it’s tyremodel
    3) R3E for it’s accuracy in braking

Or as I always say, if you combine best of all sims you get the best sim ever. But it won’t happen ever and so as always, in the end it’s just your own personal preference which you like best. But the unintended downfall of these kind of videos is the reaction of some of the the viewers which see it as a confirmation of their view or the opposite and then all camps can feed their flamewars again.

While he just gives his opinion. He clearly does it so in a respectful manner. Just his pro’s and con’s based on his not to shabby performance and experience with the Cup car irl. And that was the one and only intention: which version comes the closest to his real life experience with the car. And to be honest I think his list reflects pretty much the focuspoints of each gamedeveloper.

I just tested this car in a short race against AI, I see that it has both ABS and TC enabled by default.

Why? The 911 GT3 Cup doesn't have a TC, ABS is used in GT3 Cup only in some countries.

When I bought this car (right at launch) it had neither ABS nor TC.

P.D. I can disable both aids in my car, but ... how do I disable them in AI controlled cars?

at present the car has been transformed into the endurance version that runs in vln/24hr series ..... there will be some news shortly i believe regarding the non tc/abs version

I would be interested in that too, especially as most of us in RaceRoom are unlikely to race endurance. If I want to drive with ABS and TC, I can also drive the Cayman GT4 or 911 GT3 R.
What I find very interesting, in the last update notes you can find the following note:
"Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Sprint) - Updated tyre model and suspension. Further tweaks and improvements to physics. (this version of the GT3 Cup is not yet in store but used in Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia esports)"

The car was changed from a sprint to an endurance car during the last patches, so it is more drivable now on tracks like the Nordschleife.

The sprint cup car will return as Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.

But guys, no TC and no ABS... that's what makes the Cup Porsche so special. As I said, if you want more "drivable", there is the Cayman GT4 and the GT3 R.

The Porsche 991.2 GT3 cup has an optional ABS system from factory. Some series the ABS is not allowed like the Porsche Supercup but other series uses the ABS like vln series and the 2017 Italian Porsche cup.
