Reasonable assumption BUT...only Porsche car that we are certain that will be released is GT3 Cup, so let's be patient and see what S3 will bring us in future.

The GT2 was one of the first racing classes which was contained after the publication of R3E made by the old SimBin Studios. It seems that the priority of the sim has changed a little bit since the new start with Sector 3 Studios. I would love to see the following constellation: iRacing is the specialist for all oval racing activities, and R3E is the specialist for all road racing activities. The GTE wouldn't be a unrealistic new class for R3E, if RaceRoom would form a partnership with the IMSA - (International Motor Sports Association) or FIA racing organization.

 

Think you'll find the GT3 variant is confirmed, hence the removal of the RUF from the shop, next Tuesday, so; at a guess I'd expect the cup car, GT3 and maybe GT4, LM1 or something historic, whatever it is, if it's not here by next Tuesday, there will be a few people working between Christmas and the New Year at S3, very good chance that the promise of 3 Porsche's by end of the year is a contractual obligation, well here's hoping!!

 

I just realized that third Porsche (alongside GT3 Cup and 991 GT3-R) might actually be 997 to fill the gap after RUF

 

Any form of GT racing would be very welcome by me, but GTE imho only makes sense when embedded with LMP2 and LMP1 (whatever they look like in the future). And I fear that this is several numbers too big for the time being, just to justify one - very much desired - Porsche model.
In my crystal ball I rather see the GT4 car coming along the KTM GT4 and some more GT4s. That seems much more achievable "short term". (And I smell (W)TCR beyond the horizon )

 

I really want Group C Porsches and the whole Group C. There are enough modern cars in the game imo.

Love this car also, but love the 991 CUP (the diva) much more... .
R3E has so many GT3R's, a CUP car would be the perfect add-on for me (and she is much more challenging to drive, because she doesn't want to turn at all without trail breaking due to the lack of aero...

I don't mean "cup" in the spirit of a car race or a cup of coffee. I mean the car itself: The Porsche 991 GT3 CUP... Just search for "Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup" in Google, I'm not sure if an AI selector is really necessary .
