Hi @Alistair McKinley, the fenders of the RSR are actually a bit unusual. If you look at pictures of the car you will notice that they are somehow widened at their rear end.

Just take a look at the official site of the recent 911 RSR and scroll down a bit. There is even a 360°-view where you can spin the car with your mouse.

I guess it has something to do with aerodynamics, similar to the completely cut off fenders at the rear end that many racecars have. But this is only an assumption, I don't know this for a fact.

Edit: the extremely screaming RSR is the direct predecessor of this car. The sound of this one is very different. I personally still like it, although it doesn't even sound like the typical Porsche flat 6 anymore. It's still very raw. You can use this video for a rough sound-comparison:

In the beginning you can see 2 RSRs leaving the pitlane. And the first one is the older screamer, the second one is the most recent car, the one we got in RaceRoom now. You can directly hear the difference in sound.

Hard to believe it's been 8 weeks already but here we are, the final round of the DDF Racer YouTube Channel Hotlap Challenge Championship! Good luck with this week's challenge, you're going to need it...

(All 8 rounds of the championship will stay open for one more week so if you want to have a go there's not much time left to get your name on the board)

A bit of fooling around with the VW ID R on Lakeview Hillclimb, Daytona and Bilster Berg. If you want to see more of the ID R, feel free to suggest some tracks!

    Greetings

If I could change that, I would. But in the meantime, I thought of uploading some of these as a replacement :D
