    Hello, riders

Is there a solution or what is this problem?

    I drive a Trustmaster T500 steering wheel

Since this week I suddenly have no more brakes when I race.
The brake pedal no longer works properly.
When I go to see me in "Configuration" I see that I only see green to the 3rd indent.
Even when tested with "Trustmaster Calibration", the color remains orange only.

If I now race on raceroom, WRC7 or other game, no more brakes.

Meanwhile, I have already removed Drivers, reinstalled 3 times. Yet the same problem still occurs.
Also my pedals dismantled and everything mounted again.

    What is the problem?
I personally do not know what to do anymore.
Are there riders who know a solution for that?
Very happy to help if someone can help me.

    Regards, Nick

It is the brake potentiometer that has failed. A Trustmaster barely 2 years old, which I use every two or three times.

It can be replaced, but the price is well over € 140.

I just bought the new pedal set separately again. Price € 168.

It should not be, but regrettably it is back "made in China".

When I changed the spring under my brake pedal (T3PA Pro), I found that the potentiometer can give a wrong value if not rotated with the right angle before to put the pedal back in its place.

Maybe you could give an eye to this, removing the pedal and rotating the potentiometer to see what value it sends to the driver/game. And if it works, adjust it correctly before to place back the pedal.

If the potentiometer is broken, you still can buy one for nothing and try to repair yourself. 140 € is too much for a potentiometer issue. :)

You wouldn't have to repair the potentiometer if upgrading to loadcell. This would improve braking extremely.

Its defiantly the potentiometer that has failed, on the T500 pedals they can't be reset or cleaned as they are a sealed cheap unit, TM will send out replacements, I had this done 3 times when I had my set, cost about £14 a time, and they are a pain in the arse to replace, also they don't last long.

I have dismantled pedals. There are two spirals, small and large spiral. I took out that little one, and just put that big one back. Everything reassembled and what appears now, my brakes work again. Is a bit less hard the pedal, but can brake back.

Had finally thought that it was the potentiometer that no longer worked.
