Quick question. Why are standing starts the go-to in many sim racing multiplayer races and championships when in the real-life championships, rolling starts are the norm? Do people prefer standing starts, are they easier to code, something else?
If we talking about GT3 series, they basically not designed for a standing start in real life. Standing starts so popular in RaceRoom - I think, because it's easier for people and for connection establishment.
There were some bugs with rolling starts in R3E multiplayer races that probably haven't been fixed yet.
