It would be nice if there are at least one official R3E vs. Real Life video per track like these …

Yes, such films are fun, and they help to appreciate what quality we got in tracks.

Man things are getting real close these days makes looking back to the Speccy and Amiga days laughable, makes you appreciate the work that goes into the modern Sim track, also makes me want more S3 tracks with more S3 content to drive on them, come on S3, Christmas is coming, my virtual tree needs lots of your virtual goodies under it! :D

    FR JR vs. Formula Ford

Your CAT track dates are laser scanned files. Isn't it? :D

The environment in the game is simple great (except public). Sound and AI is, greatest from among other sims. RaceRoom is constantly better and better. But I'm stil waiting for more expanded and sustainable statistic after the race.
The videos above shows insane environmental immersion of R3E. But, in my opinion, the real live of racing is also about the spirit of competition. In the fleeting meaning - on the track during the race. And in the long term during the championship - in the statistical comprehention.

Speaking of real life vs R3E....

After watching the real life 2016 Nurburgring DTM races on youtube, public servers don't seem so bad anymore.:D
And - is it me? Or was that woman pit reporter trying to start a flame war between drivers/teams?

I have to admit, just shows you how talented the Sector3 Team is.
The track modelers, the artists behind the trackside details, audio.......everything.

Just one question.....when did the Nurburgring add the R3E sim corner markers? ;)

Glad to see I brought life back to this thread.

Anyone with good video editing skills could start making new ones of each track would be awesome.

    Sonoma Raceway

... and the winner is: R3E!!!

#1 RaceRoom Racing Experience (very close to reality )
#2 iRacing (laser scanned track o_O & bad colors )
#3 Project Cars (completely wrong track elevation )
#4 rFactor 2 (poor graphics )

Yet, every one of them licensed the use of the isi motor. It just goes to show the gaming engine is half the battle.

    Not quite...

Even the more recent Automobilista is so changed not much must be left from the original.

The microphones matter a lot, especially one overwhelmed by the volume in Mid-Ohio-vid.
    On the other hand:
Is it possible that S3S simulates the filtering done by the helmet?
If so, please make it an option.
Cockpit sound is not really exiting

The Cockpit-Sound in R3E simulates a less distorted sound compared to videos... especially the examples of cam-recordings above sounds horrible...
