R3E Web Dashboard Released

What is strange is that, I checked the enable log box, launch R3E and the only line in the log file is:

2017-05-05 08:00:44,098 [6] INFO ProRacing.MainForm.cs - Application Started

 

That's a good thing mate, means no errors were found! Not sure what else you need to check Maybe send me some screen shots of the windows app and web app to my email so that I might spot something.

Is there somethiug to activate in R3E?

 

Nope..., could it be that the streaming port is blocked by your firewall?

 

If it was blocked, I wouldn't have connection opened at the bottom of the app?

EDIT: strange thing: if I try to activate widgets like samsung, I get a message:


Proracing stops working... but app is ok after that.

The DirectX Widgets? That was experimental and is not advised to be used

Hmm, this even tells me further that your install could be corrupted. Did you manually delete ALL files before you installed latest version?

 

Yes, but I can try to reinstall it.

 

OK, so I uninstalled it, rebooted and re-install and... victory! it seems to work: I cannot drive as I'm away and tested by teamviewer but, dashboard show rpm and so on!

Just a thing, on the first launch, I got this error:

 

Cool, then I guess you had an new version installed on some old one.

Hmm, that error is related to some JoyStick of yours which is not being handled well....I'll have a look at it though it will be impossible for me to replicate as I would need your joystick

 

Ok, last question: I just give a try with AC and PCars but, the bottom message stay with search for game (plugin installed for AC and game changed and listener restarted on the main windows app)?

 

So for AC, you will need to enable the plugin from within the game as well. Not home atm so cannot find an image. But somewhere in the menu you will have a Proracing plugin, you'll need to enable it.

Also same for PCARS....

Wanted to give the app a try but got an error message:
An error has occured: Please send this message to app creator: The system cannot find the file specified.

I have no idea what file.
I had an old version on the app installed. Removed both versions and installed the latest again but stil the same issue.
Maybe its an old config somewhere I don't know.

Just for information : I had to delete the directory C:\ProgramData\{7EF0CA16-FEBD-4D49-85DC-ECC37E02F153} before installing the new version.

 

Thanks. That seems to resolve this error after initialising application.
But I still get this error when clicking the Open Dashboard button.

 

Seems like either a permission issue or some files are missing. Can you maybe start the app as administrator and see if it still happens?

 

FYI, if you delete the folder C:\ProgramData\{7EF0CA16-FEBD-4D49-85DC-ECC37E02F153}, all of your saved info and widgets etc will all be lost.......

 

I know but it was the only solution to have the new version installed correctly on my desktop
